“Welcome to a New Era: Dr. Daniel J. Weeks Joins International House Vancouver as Inaugural President”

International House Vancouver is pleased to announce that Dr. Daniel J. Weeks has joined the IH team as its inaugural President. In over three decades, Dr. Weeks has served in numerous Canadian post-secondary leadership roles, including Vice-President Research and President and Vice-Chancellor. Dan’s career impact has been global as an accomplished academic, a moral decision maker and a philanthropic champion. His advocacy and commitment to truth and reconciliation, particularly international student education, are consistent with the mission and values of International House Vancouver.
As President, Dr. Weeks will work to shape the future of programs and services offered by International House Vancouver. Dr. Weeks holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Auburn University, with his research covering a broad range of topics in cognitive neuroscience, including human perception and performance and developmental disabilities.
His official start date is September 1st, 2023.
