Accommodation & Meals
We want our students to feel at home during their stay in Vancouver and take particular care in choosing suitable accommodation options. We offer two types of accommodation,
- Room: Each student has access to a private, clean, and comfortable room.
- Furniture: The room includes a bed with bedding, a dresser, and a designated area for homework.
- Access: Students have access to bathroom and laundry facilities.
- Proximity: The homestay is approximately 30 to 60 minutes away from school by public transport.
- Families: Our friendly and welcoming English-speaking homestay families come from diverse backgrounds, reflecting Vancouver’s multicultural population. Some families may host more than one international student.
- Lifestyle: Students can specify preferences related to diet, smoking/non-smoking, and children.
- Amenities: Included amenities are 2 or 3 meals per day, Wi-Fi Internet access, and a 24-hour emergency contact number.
- Airport Pickup/Return: Available for an additional fee.
Co-living & other accommodations
IH Career College has options for independent and co-living accommodations in houses and apartments/hotels
Our Co-living Provides
- Minimum 3 months stay.
- Available to students over 19 years of age.
- Offers independent living by sharing an entire house with other students.
- Both private and shared rooms are available.
- Kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities are shared
- Internet, TV and telephone service all included
- Meals available at additional charge
Homestay
Our homestays are carefully selected and located in safe and pleasant residential neighborhood’s. Homestay accommodation gives students the chance to participate in some of the family life, experience a different culture and most of all, practice their English skills at home. It typically takes between 20 to 50 minutes to get to and from the school by public transit.
Our Homestay's provide
- A private room with a bed, desk and storage space
- Half-board (breakfast and dinner)
- Shared bathroom (private bathroom available on request for an extra fee)
- Laundry facilities, TV and free internet
- Linen, towels and toilet paper
- Under 13: with parents or guardian.
